The weekly spread I swore off for 6 months is now my whole system

I used to think weekly layouts were a waste of space, too rigid for my chaotic schedule. Last October I caved and tried a simple 2 page spread with just 7 boxes and a tiny task list on the side. Turns out the limits helped me focus, I stopped overplanning and actually finished 3 projects that had been dragging since August. Has anyone else flipped on a layout they hated, or is it just me and my need for guardrails?

Honestly I was the same way, swore weekly spreads were just a way to feel busy without getting anything done. But I tried one last month out of pure boredom and now I can't go back, the boxes just make my brain shut up and pick the next thing. It's weird how a little structure can trick you into finishing stuff.
