Showerthought: my bujo went from 45 minutes of setup to 10 because I quit drawing layouts every week
I started bullet journaling back in January with a ruler and a set of those fine liners, and I was drawing full weekly spreads by hand for about 2 hours each Sunday. By March my wrists hurt and I was skipping days because the blank page felt like homework. Then I tried something boring: one page per month with 4 columns ruled off, just dates and tasks, nothing else. That was 6 weeks ago and I have filled 3 months of pages in one notebook instead of burning through a whole Leuchtturm in 10 weeks. The weird part is I actually use it more now because there is no pressure to make it pretty. Anyone else drop the fancy layouts and end up sticking with it longer?
