Why does nobody talk about how long it takes to prop a fiddle leaf fig in water?
I always figured rooting a fiddle leaf fig cutting in water was a two or three week deal. I stuck a cutting in a mason jar on my kitchen sill back in March and checked it daily like an idiot, changing the water every few days. It took 11 weeks before I saw the first real root, and I nearly tossed the thing twice. The stem stayed green the whole time, so I just left it alone. How long did your fiddle leaf cuttings take, and did you use a heat mat or just room temp?
