Switched from loose bearings to cartridge bearings in my old Campy hubs yesterday
I used to think loose bearing hubs were the only way to go. My dad taught me to pack them by hand and adjust the cone tension just right. Did it that way for 12 years. Then I built up an old road frame with some Ultegra wheels that had cartridge bearings and honestly they spin smoother and I don't have to mess with them every 3 months. My hands are way less greasy now. Anyone else make the swap and not look back?

Honestly hadn't even thought about that angle @nathan_patel but yeah the lighter weight probably makes a bigger difference than people realize (especially if you're hauling them around all day).
