Swapped my Park tension gauge for feel, never going back

Used to chase exact chain tension numbers on every build, thought a digital gauge in Austin was the only way. Then I watched a track guy in a local shop set a chain by hand in like 30 seconds, just pushing down on the chain and feeling the play. Tried it on my own fixie and realized the gauge was actually making me overthink it, 1cm of slack works fine for 90% of bikes. Anyone else ditch the tools and trust their hands more now?
