After 12 years of hating CRT monitors, a $20 garage sale monitor flipped my view
I always swore by flat panels, called CRT users nostalgic fools on forums. Then my neighbor in Denver let me test his old Sony Trinitron from 1999 while I waited for a new LCD to ship. The way motion looked in a racing game, no ghosting at all, made me realize I'd been judging a whole class of gear off one blurry school computer from the 90s. Now I keep a 17 inch CRT on a rolling cart for retro consoles and old Windows games, and I'm honestly curious how many of you run one daily or just for specific tasks?

That Denver test, did the low refresh rate bother your eyes for regular desktop stuff?
