Walked into a new shop in Portland last week and their clipper station setup was a mess

Stopped by Lucky's Barbershop on 3rd Ave to check out their work and maybe pick up some tips. They had clippers just sitting in drawers with no oil or cleaning in sight, and I saw a Wahl Senior that looked like it hadn't been maintained in months. Asked the owner about it and he just shrugged, said they replace them every 6 months anyway. Has anyone else noticed shops treating their clippers like disposable tools instead of keeping them clean between cuts?

Man listen, I get where you're coming from but sometimes the little things do build up. A few years back my roommate would leave his wet towel on my bed every single morning. At first I was like whatever, it's just a towel. But after like two weeks of coming home to a wet pillow and sheets I snapped. Turns out he had no idea it bugged me cause I never said nothing. Once I actually told him he was super apologetic and it stopped completely. Sometimes what looks like a big deal is really just a tiny thing that got ignored too long.
