Paid $120 for a fancy clipper oil and my blades still felt rough, switched back to cheap stuff

Bought that premium clipper oil from the barber supply shop downtown last month. Figured spending more meant smoother cuts. Nope. My Andis still pulled and snagged on thick hair after two days. Went back to the $6 bottle of Wahl oil I always used and everything runs like new again. Anyone else find the expensive brands are just marketing? What oil do you guys trust for daily shop use?
