One Tuesday in Portland that nearly broke my clippers and my spirit

Had a day last month where every single appointment ran late because my main cord died during the second cut. Swapped to a backup which just would not hold a charge, ended up doing 8 haircuts with a cord from a vacuum I found in the back room. By 6pm my wrist was aching and I almost told a regular to come back tomorrow, but he tipped me $20 extra for sticking it out. Anyone else ever lose power mid-fade and have to MacGyver something weird to finish the day?
