My boss bet me $50 in 2019 that cashiers would be gone by now, and I had to pick a side
I took the bet and said no way, mostly because the grocery store near my place in Cleveland still had two lanes open at 9pm on a Sunday. Here we are in 2025, the store added self checkout but kept the cashiers too, so I guess neither of us won clean. Did anyone else make a bet like this with a coworker and have it end in a draw?
