My sister asked why I take photos of the mailbox before I hand over rent, and I felt dumb explaining it
Two weeks back my sister stayed over and watched me snap pics of the mailbox, the full trash bin, and the clean counter right before our new roommate moved in, and she asked what I was even doing. I told her a guy at my old place in Duluth swore up and down he never got my $700 check, and it took 4 months of arguing to get him to admit he lost it, so now I keep a dated paper trail of everything. Does anyone else treat move-in day like a crime scene walkthrough, or am I the odd one?
