Why does nobody talk about the 10 inch rule for cable slack behind your desk?
I read a comment on a tech forum last week that said you should leave at least 10 inches of extra cable behind your desk for when you need to pull stuff out. I tried it on my own setup with a 6 foot extension cord and it actually helped a ton when I had to unplug my monitor to move it. But my buddy says that much slack just turns into a tangled mess under his feet and he zip ties everything tight instead. So which is it, leave some room or cinch it all down? I really want to know what works for you guys.
