I finally counted the cords behind my TV stand and the number surprised me
I moved my TV stand out to vacuum last Saturday and actually counted what was hiding back there. Forty one separate cables and cords, and 9 of them were plugged into nothing at all. I got the number from just going down the power strip row by row with a notebook, which sounds silly but seeing it written out was a real kick in the head. Once I pulled the dead ones, the pile dropped to 32 and the power strip had 4 free slots. Has anyone else done a full count like this, and did the number shock you too?
