Timeout pen fixed my new chicken fights, but is letting them battle it out better?

Honestly, keeping new birds in a separate pen stopped all the pecking. Ngl, some friends say to just mix them and let nature take its course, what's your vote?

Mix them and grab some popcorn, I guess? Personally I'd skip the feathery UFC drama and stick with the timeout pen.
