The Grand Canyon corridor trail is a zoo and I don't get why people brag about it
Hiked Rim to Rim on the Bright Angel and North Kaibab route 2 weeks ago and counted 60+ people between Phantom Ranch and Cottonwood. Felt like a line at the DMV, not a backcountry trip. If you want the canyon, skip the corridor and do the Hermit or Escalante routes where you might see 3 people all day. Why does everyone treat the corridor like the only real canyon hike?
