Paid $75 extra for enclosed shipping on my Civic, and here's what actually happened
Moved from Phoenix to Seattle back in March and the open carrier quote was $850 while enclosed was $925, so I figured 75 bucks was cheap insurance for a car I actually care about. The dispatcher kept pushing me toward open saying enclosed was overkill for a daily driver, which looking back should've been a red flag about how they run things. Enclosed added 9 days to the pickup window because they wait to fill the whole trailer, and my car sat at a terminal in Vegas for 4 of those days anyway. Has anyone else had a broker talk them out of the upgrade they already paid for, or is that just how these guys operate?
