Changed my mind on blending clear over the panel edge
I used to blend clear right to the edge on every bumper job, figured it was faster and saved material. Then a guy at the shop in Toledo showed me how he tapes off past the blend zone and runs a full wet coat over the whole panel instead. His jobs came out with way less texture and I quit chasing dry spots with 1500 grit two days later. Last month I switched over completely and my rework on bumpers dropped from about 3 a week to almost zero. Anyone else make this switch, or am I late to this party?
