Drove 90 minutes to a dark field in Ely, Nevada last month and got 40 minutes of clear sky
Clouds rolled in right after I got focus, so my stack of Andromeda turned into 12 usable frames out of 200. Does anyone else scout backup spots before a long drive, or do you just eat the loss?
