Question about the moment you knew your old method was broken
I spent 12 years hand-writing my grocery list, then one Tuesday at the Kroger in Louisville I forgot it on the counter and had to use a notes app on my phone. It took me half the time and I saved around $35 because I actually stuck to the list instead of winging it. Was it just stubborn habit keeping me from switching, or did anyone else have a dull moment that finally broke the old routine?

My buddy Jason had the same thing happen but with his work calendar. He used one of those paper planners for like ten years and swore by it, then his wife accidentally threw it in the recycling bin on a Sunday night. He panicked and grabbed his phone for the week ahead, and by Friday he was like, wait, I actually remembered everything and I didn't lose any of my notes. The funny part is he still keeps a blank planner on his desk just to feel normal, but he never writes in it anymore.
