Vent: my trench wall caved in on a survey grid I spent 2 days laying out
I was mapping a shell midden site outside Tulsa and came back after a rainstorm to find half my grid stakes buried under a foot of slumped dirt. I ended up re-shooting the whole thing with a total station and lost a full day of digging. Has anyone found a cheap way to shore up sandy trench walls that won't eat my whole equipment budget?
