Floppy disks mold issue after a damp basement move

I moved my old Commodore 64 setup into a basement last spring and about 20 of my diskettes came up with black spots on the magnetic surface. Wiping them with isopropyl alcohol and letting them dry for a full day recovered most of them, but two still fail to load after several tries. Has anyone had luck using a cleaning disk on the drive itself before giving up on those stubborn ones?
