Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to load a Hasselblad back the first time?

I got a used Hasselblad 500C last week and figured I could just wing it with the film back. Big mistake. I sat there for 20 minutes in my kitchen fumbling with the dark slide and the winding knob, trying to get the film to catch on the spool. The manual I found online was written in like 1962 and made zero sense. I finally got it loaded after watching a YouTube video from some guy in Portland who showed the trick of bending the leader just a little. Now I feel dumb but also kinda proud I didnt waste a whole roll. Has anyone else struggled with these weird backs or is it just me?

Idk I had to watch that Portland guy's video too, that bending trick saved my roll.

My rolls always look more like sad flops than anything.
