My first roll of 120 film came out blank and I learned a hard lesson
I was out in the Smoky Mountains last fall, really proud of the shots I took on an old Yashica-Mat I had just bought. Got home, developed the roll myself, and nothing came out. Completely blank. Turns out I had been loading the film wrong and it never advanced past the backing paper. Felt pretty dumb but now I double check every time I close the back. Has anyone else made a silly mistake like that their first time with medium format?
