Hit 5,000 flight hours and finally noticed my torque wrench habits were off

Logging exactly 5,000 hours last month made me realize my left wrist was pulling 12 ft-lbs low on flap tracks every single time, so I switched to a dial style for a week and the readings came out perfect, has anyone else caught a physical tick like that from repetitive turns?

Have you tried marking your torque wrench with tape at the exact spot your wrist naturally stops? I caught myself doing the same thing with my right elbow on horizontal stabilizer bolts, always about 8 ft-lbs light. Took me two weeks of switching back and forth between click and dial types to figure out I was favoring my grip. What finally helped was doing a quick calibration check on the same bolt every morning before I started real work.
