Got tired of chasing intermittent faults on a 737, so I built a cheap wiggle-test rig out of a 2x4 and some hood springs
After 3 days of tracing an MEL'd flap position indicator on a -800, I bolted a paint stick to a drill and strapped it to the harness, it shook the whole bundle at 20 Hz and the break showed up in 2 minutes, anyone else rig up janky vibration setups like this or do you just rely on the old grab-and-tug method?
