My air fryer basket warped and now the door won't seal right

Last week I was making a batch of wings at 400 and noticed the basket was sitting crooked. Turns out the coating bubbled and the rim bent after months of abuse, so the drawer won't close flush anymore. Hot air just leaks out the front and everything cooks uneven, like half the fries are raw. I tried pressing it back flat with a towel and some muscle but no luck. Anyone else had a basket fail after a year of daily use, or am I just too rough with mine?
