Update: I spent a full weekend trying to get an AI to understand a simple landscaping layout sketch

I was trying out a new AI design tool that promised to turn hand-drawn site plans into 3D models. My sketch for a client's backyard in Tempe was pretty clear, with circles for trees and boxes for planters. The AI kept putting a 'tree' in the middle of the patio for over 8 hours of tweaking prompts. I finally got it right by uploading a photo of my sketch instead of a scan, which took another 2 hours to figure out. Has anyone else found these image-to-model tools way more finicky than the hype suggests?

Read an article saying the training data for these tools is a total mess.

Yeah, my brain's training data is a mess too, @hernandez.ben.

Man, that's exactly why I don't trust the hype. It's like @jesse_barnes37 said, the training is a mess. Feels like every "smart" tool just makes simple stuff way harder than it needs to be.
