I finally got my AI chatbot to stop lying about schedules

Was testing a booking assistant in my coworking space in Austin and it kept inventing meeting times that didn't exist. Ended up adding a simple check against the actual calendar API, took about 3 hours, and now it only quotes real slots. Anyone else hit this with their bot and found a better fix?
