Just realized I was wrong about trespassing for urbex shots, one look at a collapsed floor in Gary changed my mind
I used to think permission was optional for abandoned spots, just hop a fence and get the shot before anyone notices. Then a buddy and I hit an old church in Gary, Indiana, and I put one foot on what looked like solid wood that was actually rotted through, and it dropped me about 4 feet into a crawlspace full of broken glass. Now I email the county or the owner first and I have gotten into 3 places legally that I never would have found otherwise. Anyone else had a spot where getting permission actually got you better access?
