Finally stopped over-editing my ruin photos after one bad visit
I spent 6 months taking pics at the old McGregor mill outside Dayton and always cranked the clarity slider to max. Last week I went back and realized the rust and peeling paint looked way better straight out of camera. A guy from another forum saw my raw files and said 'you're hiding the good stuff.' Now I just fix lighting and leave the texture alone. Anyone else ditch heavy editing after a reality check?
