LaMerde & Bruce Almighty

Breeding Basics part#2.

E Males may at this time go off feed, this is normal and the male may be placed back in his enclosure or in with the female.

1# Enclosures are another important subject. Apart from the apparent requiems of humidity and temp gradients, ventilation etc., also plan enough space for retreat of either sex if so disposed.

F If both specimens are primed and these simple steps are followed you should see the male go into courting mode almost immediately! The male can get really excited. With younger first time males this can even be funny if the female is substantially larger.. reguardless of size he may bite her till she drops her tail and allows copulation.

1# Copulation is very beautiful and graceful between snakes; like two colorful ribbons intertwined.

In this case everything came together perfectly, as did the ten perfect babies (no defective animals this time!).. Yes a masterpiece!.
