here is what I dont understand...
isnt it true in the tropics or anywhere
the hotter the air the more moisture it can hold?
that means when the ambient temp goes down at night the cooler air doesnt have the ability to hold as much water so it becomes more saturated (HIGHER HUMIDITY BY %). Relative Humidity as expressed as RH% INCREASES during the night and goes down as the sun rises and the air warms all things being equal (afternoon thunderstorms will change these dynamics)....anyone who lives in Florida can tell you in the summer the air will reach 100% saturation and water drops will fall off the leaves as the air cools.
so why not high RH at night and lower RH during the day which matches what happens in nature except during a rainstorm???
