Please understand I am asking this question from the PFAN's "point of view." That is non-violent change through the democratic process. However, the authors concerns should not be dismissed out of hand, our government's first option is more often than not the "military option." We have more guns per capita than anywhere else in the world, likewise for the largest prison population.
