David gives the historical roots to the argument for fundamental change. DeLeon, in his day, made the correct analysis that holds true for us today: capitalism is a defective system that corrupts our judgement & ability to solve our problems thru control of the media, education, our culture in every form.
We have ONE NEW TOOL today tho, that was not available even twenty years ago-instantaneous & so-far unfettered access to our fellow man, woman & child. The internet allows us to organize in far easier and more efficient & workable ways to change things. Lets continue to use this tool- before it is taken away!- and work to come together on the basic agreement we have- the need for bring a real and wonderful new democracy, devoid of wage-slavery & the limitations & distortions that are inflicted on us by the drive for PROFIT and the corruptions that flow from it.
