A political party but not in the traditional sense, more of a movement perhaps. I'm from the 60s and 70s when everything was a movement :-)

The message was nailed down in writing with no highblown words or ideas. If I can what I want to do,but is looking doubtful at the moment, is to run for congress with the amendment proposal as the main plank, and during the campaign circulate the amendment proposal as a petition to be presented to the winner of the election - that he or she should put the amendment proposal before the House of Representatives. So really if a republican is elected and the Republican places the proposal before the House - that would be fine by me. An abolitionist movement - with a John Quincy Adams in place if we can find one.
