Yes there is the Hamlet question of whether it's justified to get in and stay in by avoiding the conflict, or to pretty assure that you won't get in by not avoiding it.

Our job, that I see, is to keep raising the revolutionary question. Even with 5 years remaining on his term Bernie has demonstrated that he is not capable of it.

But even if the heavens did open and Bernie was able to see the light - it would still be the people's job to keep raising the revolutionary question.

It seems to me anyway.
