Union Rank and File… WAKE UP and ask your Union Officials… Why Not Join PFANS… ?
For ALL Labor… union or not…, an Economic Democracy is a NATURAL
Throughout this latest Free Market failure which has threatened all of us with severe economic hardships…, the labor unions, which , according to the Conservative and other Right Wing political spectrum…, are supposed to have so much CLOUT, have been fairly quiet bystanders…, and only recently has ONE union showed some resistance when the Republic Windows and Doors corporation fired 200 Electrical Workers Union people after Capitol Bank balked on RP&D’s loan request…, The Union workers were being denied their insurance agreement which was in their contract. The sit-in has produced little changes the status quo.
Today’s LABOR union “leadership” is totally in sync with capitalism, and the rank and file should expect little else from its bureaucrat leaders. The Auto Corporations' existence is on the line, and the union officials KNOW threatened corporations will cut Labor’s costs…, a “natural” occurrence under capitalism. Union officials complain, but that's all because they agree with capitalisms rules. Where does that leave the rank and file? wE ALL KNOW WHERE..
REALISTICALLY, UNDER CAPITALISM, Corporations cannot be blamed for struggling to stay alive. They are simply following the rules of the system. Because the Union bureaucrats have accepted capitalism as the system in place…,the Unions, cannot have it both ways…
What is good for the corporation is not always good for the LABOR which corporations use and abuse according to the condition of corporate profit margins
A review check back of previous Presidents. Clinton promoting an anti American worker NAFTA.., the same with Bush promoting CAFTA... and the recently exposed SECRET plans for the corporate super highway from Canada to Mexico to transport cheaper goods (and that includes LABOR) North and South, and we can understand how capital and labor are always in conflict…, and accordingly…, the entire society is affected.
Today, union membership, and strength is at its lowest..., and the future is not looking good. Capitalism’s latest Free Market flop is beyond the control of the unions, the competing corporations…, or the Congress Corporate competition for limited consumer dollars always produces winners and losers…. When corporate losers need money to continue, banks are reluctant to lend to losing competitors…, then corporate cost cutting begins. It is a pass to the SYSTEM’s anti social market competition requirements and its winner/loser syndrome .., for capitalism’s advocates to blame it all on “GREED.“
The Free Market rules have produced this latest financial crises., and it is for us, We, the People, to address the capitalist system and consider its replacement with it an economic democracy.
Our Union members in all industries, and all workers without union, would be a deciding force in this growing movement.
Those who confuse the erstwhile USSR’s system, which was based on capitalism’s rules, but was announced by the Soviet s despots as a system of “socialism,“ would do well, and in keeping with their own intellectual integrity, to first become familiar with the construct of an economic democracy, and then offer criticisms or suggestions, or both…, which would be most informative to interested readers…, rather than declare their open opposition with inane references to whatever negatives they can conjure to satisfy their own personal, but systemic baseless disagreements which are devoid of substantive discourse.
Today’s unions are a reflection of society itself. Like the unions, We, as a people, have no real decision making empowerment in those matters which affect out lives …
We live by political and corporate rules which plan OUR culture to complement the existing economic and government systems,. There is no democracy in our places of work..., nor in our civic governments.
Were we to democratically operate our industries for the well being of the entire society, we would democratically administer and operate our economy which would be free from depressions, and in tune with a safe industrial and health, live giving environmental
We would have NO need for this latest political government methods to keep its capitalist supporters operating according to the enslaving Free Market rules, which we know are susceptible to periodic failures..
Take a good look at this latest corporate DEPENDENCY on the politicians to use the government to prevent sustained economic breakdowns the “Economic Stimulus” handout …, this time not to the corporations and banks, but to We, the working class People, whose WAGES ARE NEVER ENOUGH TO MAKE ALL OUR NEEDS MET, which is THE reason why WE ARE IN THIS ECONOMIC MESS.
The $145 billion “Economic Stimulus” money is simply the government using working PEOPLE as FUNNELS to spend for life’s necessities which will afford profits for the big capital investors..., WHILE THE SYSTEMIC FACTORS THAT HAVE CAUSED THIS DEPRESSION REMAIN IN PLACE..., AND THESE ARE...COMMODITY PRODUCTION AND THE WAGES SYSTEM...
Union well paid bureaucratic bosses KNOW this…, and in their present industrial function, union officials are little more than Labor organizers for the owning corporate class. Were they not , Union workers would learning about how capitalism works to keep them under the yoke of the robbery wages system which prevents them from receiving back in remuneration the FULL values produced by their contributions to production or services.
To be liberated from autocratic corporate controls Workers in today’s “LABOR” unions have only to become knowledgeable about the PFANS program..., and in concert with the rank and file in all of our nation's industries and services, work byorganizing to bring about a real democracy…, a social and economic democracy for which OUR working class forefathers fought for years ago, but were crushed by their own “union” bosses who joined the corporation owners to keep the rank and file in line with the system…,.which is capitalism…
Today’s UNION bosses ignore UNION history…,early labor history when the propaganda outlets of capitalism's media were not as widespread as today..., when workers were organizing not just for better wages nad work place conditionsm but primarily TO CHANGE CAPITALISM to a system in which the working class and society itself had full democratic ownership and operation of our socially necessary industries and services.
Sad to say, today's unions are bureaucratically controlled The union leadership acceptance of Labor's servile role in all industry, perpetuates this capitalism cycle of relative economic stability and eventual total collapse…, academically referred to as the “:Business Cycle.”
Union Rank and File... Understand what Ben Franklin told you..., what your union bosses never do..., that "The SOURCE of ALL SOCIAL WEALTH is LHUMAN LABOR...!"
We want a society in which LABOR is remunerated directly and indirectly, the FULL measure of its values produced.
When We know we will repeat this economic scenario over and over, as will our kids and theirs…, and despite the fact that We have become aware of a better system, a better way which is being declared throughout our nation by People for a New Society, and we, today, simply let it ride for the future generations to deal with it…, what does this tell us about ourselves ?
As long as We breathe, it’s never too late…
