There is alot of truth to it being premature to trying to set up a third party; at this point, while the education of working people- the working class- is still at an early stage..yet daily being done for us by the unfolding of devastating problems of caused by late-stage capitalism. So, our job is definitely to
'plant seeds' and show alternatives. The amendment idea
and the use of the internet (I'll list an interesting petition site in my next posting) are absolutely intriguing ways we can & should proceed, along with every other means of bringing the idea of real democracy--thru a cooperatively & democratically owned & administered economic & civic society--into every dialogue we can...No effort can be anything but helpful in garnering attention to this 'new' vision...
Eventually there will be the spark of a movement that will encompass political organizations. Our job is to 'ignite the spark'...LDF, editorial correspondence committee
