I just want to say that I don't think cooperatives can compete capitalism out of existence. It is extremely difficult to mount cooperative enterprises, and this can be done only in certain niches in the economy. Still, revolutionary cooperatives could possibly provide the toehold we need from which we could launch a broader socialist movement.
