"Isn't that why we have elections? to put our representives into power to represent are interest?
we keep voting in dopes. how do we get the people elected who will do what WE want?"
*************
Mikey, and others like ourselves, understand the vital need to have the democratic tools to make decisions in a self government which will better our lives.
We are not alone.
Most people in our neighborhood, our community, will agree that We, the People, have NO say in the government and in our work places. These are the people who will "Get people elected to do what we want."
How to get "like-minded" people together to have real political clout during election time periods? Not everyone of us is comfortable when talking with friends and neighbors about things political...But those among us who are, can easily bring up the PFANS project and talk to a few folks who would be willing to talk further about getting organized and becoming a legitimate political force in our community.
There are opportunities for us to extend the PFANS concepts. Those of us who are comfortable with being pro active in this kind of agitation can make good things happen.
We know the usual Democratic and Republican candidates for any office, after being elected, will never carry the principles of DEMOCRACY, as outlined in the PFANS program, into their seats of political power because they have been schooled by the corporate media and the status qo politicians to believe there is no better way for people to govern...
So, you, Mikey, the PFANS editors, your friends and neighbors who agree with your views, together…,
WE ..., are the ONLY ones who can make it happen. No other way!
SO! What to do? Talk, as I do, with your friends who agree with you .., who agree with the fact that we, ordinary citizens, lack the empowerment needed to have control of our lives, and we no longer want to give it away to politicians who serve this dictatorial political and corporate system.
Understandable…, not everyone is comfortable when talking with friends and neighbors about political happenings, but many will be pleasantly surprised to discover that most people will agree with the ideas which are presented here on the PFANS site. Some will discount it as a "Pie in the Sky" idea, but when reminded that We have with no other alternatives...,
minds can change.
Having an informal meeting in neighborhood homes is an easy way to get things on track. The possibilities are endless. The goals are immensely important for ourselves and our society, and, from a strictly personal point of reference, for the well being of my kids and theirs…
It’s all up to US ! Organizing is like a small snowball started rolling downhill…
