Dan's words, loud and clear! It cannot be overemphasized!
"We need to organize a new movement & a new party that addresses our REAL needs and a better FUTURE for all. After This Election, maybe it will dawn on people its UP TO US. NOT THEM."
Dan's call for a new movement to promote and implement DEMOCRACY in all our socially needed institutions, is the ONLY logical alternative We, the People, have to make our society one in which we will be able to enjoy a lifetime of prosperity and peace with ourselves as well as our global neighbors.
Just as Paul Revere's desperate call for the Colonials to protect themselves against their British oppressors was the only direction our nation's forefathers had left open to them for self preservation.., Dan's vision for a genuine democracy is the only logical option We have for the realization of a society where We, the People, exercise real cooperative, democratic control and operation of our government and our necessary technology. The potential benefits for us to consider and effectively act upon are endless.
Really think about it! In a genuine democracy, no longer will We be victimized by the present corporate compulsions which direct this political government to send our kids to other lands where they are forced to put their lives on the line for the resources the production-for-profit corporate investors who never step foot in those war torn places, the latest being Iraq.

Here's assignment for YOU the reader... To better appreciate and understand the PFANS program is an outcome of the thoughts and needs of ordinary people like yourself..., that YOU, We. are NOT alone in wanting and needing a better way to live in our society ..., the next time you have occasion to talking with neighbors, friends, family..., Ask them...., in your own way..., but with the following points ...
1. Doesn't anyone find it undesireable to be free from the present day corporate compulsions for profits at any cost to OUR society..., costs which include the wars, the impoverishment of OUR jobless, and OUR homeless millions of American families?
2. Does anyone find it NOT to their liking that We will no longer have our airs and waters polluted because the private corporations need cheap, immediate, dumping grounds which today are necessary corporate profit enhancement?
3.Does anyone object to having the empowerment to use our good, common senses to not intentionally damnage our Earth's capacities to replenish itself, in order that it will continue to provide for our own survival needs?
We know the replies to such queries are predictable. But it can inspire others to join in our concerns which compel us to strike out for a sensible movement which requires political organization. It is the ONLY way We can use our present Constitutional freedoms to make the changes required for DEMOCRACY in our United States.
Today's private ownership use of our vitally necessary natural resources for private profit purposes had led us to a doomsday view of our humanity's future..., in which the depletion of our Agra -corporate induced chemically infested farm soils, and our industrial produced carbon -laden atmosphere, forecasts global famine as well as global flooding of the lowest sectors of all of Earth's continents, events. which forebodes endless hardships for many generation.
Despite all of objective science's sensible prescriptions to avoid the predictable future consequences, these have been ignored by its very perpetrators ... the privately owned corporate industrial operators whose immediate profit market survival requires going with with the carbon producing methods in which they have capital investment which would be lost were they to invest further in alternative energy sources such as wind and solar.
So, once again, the profit system upon which capitalism depends for its existence, determines the directions of OUR human existence ..., no matter how short lived it may be. That's a helluva legacy for us to leave to our kids. We should, and can do better.
Let's get our democracy ball rolling. Contact Dan.. and others who have visited the PFANS site. Share with like minded people, and start organization plans. A new and different political party is the ONLY way to begin the directions outlined in the PFANS political and program planks for systemic democratic change. Let's not be reluctant to talk with our community friends about the absence of democratic empowerment ..., empowerment we must have if we are to have control of our own societal and individual well being..
It's a given that MOST everyone will agree that once WE elect them to "DO our thinking for "US," WE have little or NO power over our Reps in Congress. When with your neighbor, and to friends..., don't be hesitant to engage in conversation about social conditions, and to declare to others THERE IS A BETTER WAY. . Herald the FACT that WE, the millions of ordinary common folk get no relief from the promises made by our elected Reps to Congress..., and on our local levels WE have NO control or empowerment to convince the private corporations that polluting our earth and atmosphere should not continue.
Just the thought of the current gas prices should give everyone pause to consider .seriously the democracy alternatives proposed here in the PFANS program, and broadcast broadly for their implementation.
It would be a hopeless dream to believe we can have it better were it not for the FACT that WE, the People, ARE THE MAJORITY.
When organized, and we are on the same page, beginning with YOU, the reader, WE can VOTE for ANY new systems of OUR CHOICE, and being the MAJORITY, a social and economic democracy will be a real happening in progress!
WE can liberate ourselves from this undemocratic, private ownership control of our needed industries and services..., and for the first time in our history, WE, the PEOPLE, will actually have the empowerment to get things done for the health and well being of all.
Dan said it. So, so We act on it...?? If not. Ask yourself, "Why Not?" At this end, We are!
