Juni has it right. Our so-called Democracy is a word we've come to take for granted as being real, but its not. No voice locally (business & economic interests are in conflict with real community needs & quality of life)No voice nationally ( we spend the common wealth we produce on wars, tax breaks for the corporations,
private gain for a tiny few). No voice where we work (only owners have a voice in determining what we produce, how we produce it...how many of us will have a job next month, how many hours we will work, our pay, what form of energy & technology will be developed, the list of limits to our freedom of choice is ENDLESS!!) Yet we talk about Democracy. One party -the duopoly party of the Democrapublicans that make pretty promises no one believes will be done in our lifetime! In Fact, no other 'western industrialized power' has so LITTLE democracy!! We need to organize a new movement & a new party...that addresses our REAL needs & a better FUTURE for all. After This Election, maybe it will dawn on people its UP TO US. NOT THEM.
