: Its high time Alpha Saidu get together with Alfred Yarjah to work out the modalities and secure this website especially the forum so that members can continue to actively participate in the activities of the party. It is an understatement that we have abdicated our fiducial responsibility to our members especially to some of our most ardent executives in the person of Alfred Yarjah who worked his heart out to put this technological edifice in the name of a website together, plus a forum for the use and benefit of our members. For us to literally abandon this art work and solid investment is beyond my imagination. SLPP members should learn to appreciate and value their assets, and be proud of them. The example that has been set here however is not a good one for future members and leaders.
: It is a fact that our members are hurting, and are eager to have a place they call their own, where they are comfortable discussing burning issues germane to their country and communities especially here in the Diaspora.
: It is against this backdrop that I am appealling to the current executive of SLPP North America, to get around getting control of this website and make the forum functional again as a new year bonanza to members and non-members of the party.
: I will be more than happy to lend my support and input in making this a reality if necessary. The National Party has woken up from her slumber and is doing very well in Sierra Leone, taken the defeat it suffered in the 2007 elections. Its high time we do the same and lend them the necessary support they are going to need from us in the immediate future. I can be reached at mannj22@live.com
