"I just received the InDepth MIBOR newsletter, on the front is a memo from the MIBOR president Larry Mitchell that contains this gem:

"The impact of the HVCC to the appraisal portion of our industry is being seen on a daily basis. It is very easy to get bad information on what you can and cannot do with the appraiser. For example, there is nothing in the HVCC that prohibits you from talking to the appraiser. You know your market better than anyone else so you should feel free to educate the appraiser."

The best part: This guy is a MAI. Perhaps he's been drinking the NAR koolaid for too long.
