Stupid is as stupid does. FHA/HUD

Over the past several years when house values were up so high that very few homes could qualify for a FHA/HUD LOAN appraisers were tested, and required to utilize a special hud addendum in all hud appraisasls. Apparently to protect HUD from losses and fraud.

Now that they have raised the maximum mortgage amounts in an attempt to help the housing industry they no longer require HUD/FHA qualified appraisers or hud addeendums.
