The designation was granted on April 9, and as a new member, Tinjum will be honored during a meeting of the North Star Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

The MAI designation is earned upon the successful completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attaining 4,500 hours of qualifying experience requirements. Designees must abide by both the appraisal profession’s Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Appraisal Institute’s Standards of Professional Practice and Code of Ethics.
