1984 to Present
Have performed hundreds of appraisal and consulting assignments on all types of real estate including: high-rise and suburban office buildings, major retail complexes and freestanding stores, industrial properties, apartment complexes, hotels and motels, and developable land. Assignments have involved properties in approximately ten different states with individual property values ranging to over $100 million. In recent years a large portion of the work has been related to litigation and expert witness testimony.

New England Regional Sales Manager for Arthur D. Little Valuation, Inc. - Sold and coordinated appraisal services principally to major corporate clients.

2001 to Present
Member of the commercial division of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (Naples, Florida) with involvement in a variety of brokerage assignments generally teaming with other commercial brokers.

1996/1997
During parts of 1996 and 1997, worked on specialty marketing and feasibility projects with full service Boston area real estate company. During this period, was a broker of record on the sale of a $17 million dollar office building and a 200,000 square foot industrial building as well as performing various lease and consulting assignments.

1980-1983
External and internal consultant to the FMR Corporation (parent of Fidelity Investments). Worked directly for Edward C. ("NED") Johnson on a number of special projects. Developed my idea for an inflation based mortgage instrument into a viable financial services product. Startup member of the development team that won the right to develop Commonwealth Pier into what is now Boston's World Trade Center and was contact person for IBM's commitment to be the leadoff prime tenant.

1974-1980
Independent mortgage broker. Performed on a consulting basis feasibility studies, market analysis and lender negotiation. Served as an exclusive correspondent for Connecticut National Bank's mortgage subsidiary originating, underwriting, and servicing a portfolio of unconventional loans. Brokered both sides of the sale of a major apartment complex in Stoneham, Massachusetts.

1973-1974
Kuras and Company (Boston) - Senior mortgage broker originating, packaging and placing conventional real estate loans.

1969-1973
Provident National Bank (Philadelphia) - underwriting construction, land development and standing loans as well as lines of credit to real estate syndicators. Was responsible for all of the bank's lines of credit to real estate investment trust clients and initiated the bank's complete withdrawal from them before the 1973 REIT industry crash.

Articles and Publications

Authored "Deriving IRR Sets from Market Transactions", a ground breaking article demonstrating how discounted cash flows can be given more integrity; published in the Appraisal Journal, April 1995.

Based on the above article, developed and presented on multiple occasions a three hour seminar approved by Massachusetts and the Appraisal Institute for continuing education credit.

Authored "The Illusive Definitions of NOI and OAR", an article demonstrating the imprecise nature of the definitions of these terms and the dangers associated therewith; published in the Appraisal Journal, January 1998.

Jonnie you have realy impressed me, I hope the public and your potential clients are equally impressed. Let's see from 1969 to 1983 you were involved in the finance business, then you worked for a year selling appraisal services. . . then in 1984 stoped selling the services and became an appraiser. And to top it off you have a Brokers and Appraisers licence that is INACTIVE in multiple state.
