Look what's coming up this week at the PUC in Concord. Too bad our BoS counsel, Sumner Kalman, didn't file papers to intervene on behalf of the citizens of Atkinson, Plaistow, Newton, Kingston and East Kingston. What's the matter, Mr Kalman, Selectmen didn't ask? Why won't you act? No loyalty to the communities you serve? Maybe it's the almighty dollar that you're serving. Perhaps I should be appealing to your own self interests. Wouldn't it be better for your real estate clients in the seacoast region if we had a reliable utility instead of Unitil? Don't you think real estate values would be higher with a more affordable power supplier than Unitil? You've taken Unitil's side with your inaction. What we need in our towns is a real country lawyer representing our interests, someone like Attorney Howard from Lunenburg / Fitchburg.
