More layoffs announced. One whole department is getting trashed this time. By December we'll be down to only 18 in Massachusetts and down to 16 when the accountants close the books on them in February. It's amazing, from 620 in 2000 down to just 16 in 2010. If I can just hold on for a few months longer, severence and unemployment might just get me to that magic age of 59 1/2. After that I can start tapping into my 401K without penalty. If I have to.
