I spent last week in Hanover Maryland. When I stay there, I choose to stay at the Hampton Inn at the edge of the Arundel Mills mall. The mall is huge. It boasts a movie theater, three sit down restaurants, and all the expected stores.
The mall is arranged like a small town. The micro brewery/sports bar/restaurant is good for three or four nights of chow, camaraderie, and entertainment.
Plaistow is the perfect place for an 'attraction' like this. Such a destination would distinguish Plaistow from all the other border town and their strip malls and provide a place for the rest of us to shop, dine, and gather. Great place, too, for Black Friday or summer carnivals.
This probably isn't the time for building retail space, but Plaistow is located close to major highways, has low sales taxes, and is home to a school system that specializes in retail-ready graduates.
Get behind this Dennis.

I recommend the Thai Pasta and Misfit Red.
